Hand Dyed Toile Carmilla Mini Dress - Bluebell

The Hand Dyed Toile Collection is a twist on my Pride & Prejudice dresses. The custom French toile style fabric; with scenes from this beloved story, is over dyed with blue and pink tones that complement the darker versions of those same colours in the pattern. This collection brings more colour to these designs and the hand dyed nature of the fabric gives a light variation in colour along the garment to make each piece one of a kind.

The Carmilla Mini Dress is my take on a cuter mini version of my Rococo inspired cottagecore dress. There are so many details, like the ruffle around the square neckline, the structural boned bodice that we kept from the Diana design, and the full circle skirt with not just the mid-skirt detail ruffle and extra gathered tier, but also a hem ruffle for more detail and flounce. Oh, and don't forget that this mini dress still has the same large side seam pockets in the skirt that the maxi does!

Then there is the side lacings that let you adjust the bust and waist of the dress by 5.5inches, allowing for the dress to be tightened or loosened to your body shape through weight fluctuations. The dress sizes listed in the size chart are the maximum dimensions of each dress.

The material breakdown used for this dress is: 40% viscose, 40% linen, 10% cotton, and 10% polyester.
