The Pride & Prejudice collection felt like the perfect thing to welcome in the very beginning of spring. From the custom French toile style fabric; evoking scenes from this beloved story, to the pale blues and warm pinks in the colour palette. This collection embodies the gentle foggy mornings of early spring, moss covered ground, and timeless tales shared with friends.
The Carmilla Mini Dress is my take on cutter mini version of my Rococo inspired cottagecore dress. There are so many details, like the ruffle around the square neckline, the structural boned bodice that we kept from the Diana design, and the full circle skirt with not just the mid-skirt detail ruffle and extra gathered tier, but also a hem ruffle for more detail and flounce. Oh, and don't forget that this mini dress still has the same large side seam pockets in the skirt that the maxi does!
Then there is the side lacings that let you adjust the bust and waist of the dress by 5.5inches, allowing for the dress to be tightened or loosened to your body shape through weight fluctuations. The dress sizes listed in the size chart are the maximum dimensions of each dress.
Victoria is 5'7 and wearing a 12-16 Mini.
The material breakdown used for this dress is: 40% viscose, 40% linen, 10% cotton, and 10% polyester.
